I really miss the summer. I forget what a relaxing and peaceful time it is. I know most people think that teachers just teach so they can have the summers off. The truth is that we work soooo hard during each school year, doing much more than lesson plans and grading papers! So we literally NEED the summer to prevent insanity. This past summer, I went with 5 of my friends to South Padre for a week of beach and sun. It was so relaxing! One morning we woke up super early to catch the sunrise from our condo balcony. Here is what we saw:
This was in South Padre in the summer...right before the sun came up.
Then the clouds rolled in, and it got very interesting. I was afraid the sunrise would be blocked...
But it wasn't, and it looked amazing!
And this was the last shot I took before I went back to bed. The rest of this day was spent on the beach. How blissful. I need to go on vacation!
